Getting Started

SurvSync is a professional property survey app designed for chartered surveyors, property inspectors, building surveyors, valuation specialists, and real estate professionals. It streamlines inspections and reporting using RICS-compliant workflows.

You can sign up at www.survsync.com . Choose the package that suits you and create a new account. Then, use the same email to sign into the SurvSync app .

Click the toast menu in the top left corner and select Create Report . Enter the property address and basic details, then choose your inspection type to begin.

Each section of the report has a small icon next to the section title. Tap it to open a page with a vertical menu on the right and a camera embedded in the centre. Focus on the element and tap the screen to capture. From the menu, you can view all photos for that section, add images from your library, record voice notes , and even type notes while taking a photo .

Add the floor plan image from your library, then draw on the image to indicate key details. Alternatively, you may sketch a new layout using the drawing tools provided. When finished, press Save to store your changes.

Data & Sync

All images, drawings, and voice memos are automatically compressed to reduce file size and are sorted by inspection and section.

SurvSync uses a Realtime Database , so your data is synced instantly as soon as you have an internet connection – no need to close the app or manually refresh.

SurvSync supports offline use so you can continue inspections even without a network connection. While offline, you can add or edit inspection notes and update condition ratings. These changes are stored securely on your device and will sync automatically once you're back online. Please note that an internet connection is required to upload or view images and voice memos. If connectivity is lost during an inspection, we recommend using your device's built-in camera or recorder to capture photos and audio. You can then upload them to SurvSync as soon as your connection is restored.

Yes. As long as you log in with the same account , your inspections and reports are synced instantly and are available on all your devices.

All data is encrypted and stored securely in the cloud, using Google Firebase for storage and secure transfer.

Reports & RICS Compliance

This depends on your subscription package. SurvSync Notes does not provide report generation, but you can still view all report notes, photos, and voice notes . You can download your notes in PDF format , along with your photos, floorplans, and voice notes. SurvSync Pro and SurvSync Enterprise include the ability to create a full, comprehensive RICS-aligned report .

SurvSync's workflows and reporting formats follow RICS guidance , ensuring all inspections meet professional and legal standards.

App Settings & Support

Yes. Click the toast menu icon , go to Settings , and select the Change Password link. You will need to enter your old password to confirm the change. Remember, your password is updated across both platforms – web and app.

Click the toast menu icon , go to Settings , and toggle Save Photos to Gallery . Each photo you take will also be saved in your phone's library.

Click the toast menu icon , go to Settings , and select Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy to view them.
